Can you check the last version number in versions.html, it should be v0.87 - 2020 Jan 04
For a Buildbot install it will be:
For a Run In Place install it should be:
It definitely works here.
For a Buildbot install it will be:
/usr/share/doc/linuxcnc/examples/sample-configs/by_machine/plasmac/versions.html
For a Run In Place install it should be:
~/linuxcnc-dev/configs/by_machine/plasmac/versions.html

Yessir that’s the version I’m on.

And I 4x checked I ran it from that location.
Just ran it again, same error

Are you trying to change the mode before you select an ini file?

It cannot change the mode when it doesn't don't know what it is yet.

Always uses spaces, not tabs (but by all means let your editor put in multiple spaces when you press the tab key).
That way there should be no problems.
This is also a general rule for LinuxCNC code, though some files do contain the evil tabs.

I think its supposed to save some keystrokes for developers becasue it gets away from {} and if..end
But generally if you open a file in a different editor it breaks the indentation...
