I am looking for some clarity with this: # set to double the value in the corresponding joint
Does this apply just for the Z axis or X and Y as well.
As I have seen in other users ini files some with it just in Z and and some with it in X and Y as well.

For plasma, just for the Z axis.

Thanks Tom.
Well that's strange because practically ever ini file I have come across apart from one on yours has it in all axis.
If I am not mistaken It is in there by default.

In other axis it is used only when you have active backlash compensation, otherwise the usual 25% is all that is needed.
The config i used and still use for plasma has that set to double and also had f-error set to 500 to prevent from errors while the Z axis was under THC control.

Changes were made in v0.075 - 2019 Oct 21 to add the consumable change feature which uses external offsets to position the X and/or Y axes. So X,Y and Z are all set up the same now.

The Configurator is "supposed" to do this for you.
Edit: but I see it has not done yours correctly. Could you post your old working ini file so I can try to find where it went wrong.

Thanks, the error was already in it.
It looks like somehow it ran through the upgrade twice and ended up quadrupling MAX_VELOCITY and MAX_ACCELERATION and inserted OFFSET_AV_RATIO = 0.5 twice in the [X_AXIS] and [Y_AXIS] sections. It has also duplicated OFFSET_AV_RATIO = 0.5 in the [Z_AXIS] section even though it shouldn't touch the [Z_AXIS] section.
You should fix those.
In the meantime I will try to find out what went wrong. Very odd.
