Hi,
I need to ask for help again. I've updated my system recently and I have noted that on my preview screen I'm not getting correct coordinates. If I load g-code with PREVIEW tab as active, the application freezes, but when g-code loaded on any other tab I can run the machine.

PC is based on Q6600 CPU, AGP graphic card, SSD.

I've loaded the same LinuxCNC image on my laptop (Dell M2800, i7pro CPU) and the preview screen looks OK.

Any suggestions?

Are you using a parallel port?
Invert the inputs in hal files, fix the THC settings, etc etc
this way of doing things will cost a lot of time and nerves.
Keep everything to one topic, it is the same machine, read everything before running the machine............. check and recheck everything ....

Yes, I'm using TWO parallel ports - one on-board and one as PCI card.

I seem to recall an earlier thread quite some time ago about some locale setting causing issues like this but I can't seem to find the thread.

EDIT: I found the one I was thinking of:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/659
