Hello to everyone

I am building new plasma machine and i will not going to use THC or probes. For z axis i will have pneumatic cylinder for up and down and Floating head.
I need to now if i can configure PlasmaC or QtPlasmaC to work on this way and how. I need to disable probing before pricing and just need digital output bit for Z axis down. I am working on Buster with LCNC 2.9.
I try to find answer to this and install PlasmaC but i cannot turn off this probing future before pricing.

Thanks to all

No need for PlasmaC then, a normal config will work just fine, so you can use any of the included GUI's.

Ok, for that you do need PlasmaC, so wait for Phill to chime in on how to disable probing.
A simple way would be to tie the torch on to coolant or mist and use the M7/M8 to turn them on instead of M3, and use M9 to turn them off instead of M5.

If you wanted to use the PlasmaC configuration for this you would need to rewrite quite a lot of the plasmac.comp file plus maybe even some of the GUI code. I don't think it would be a trivial task. It would probably be easier to write your own QtVCP or GladeVCP panel for statistics.

Edit: If you used GladeVCP you could utilise the existing statistics panel and some of the existing code. Most hal connections wuld need to be changed to suit any new code.

Thanks Phillip
I have little experience with QTVCP and try to make some simple window that will work for me.
