To all, I have a cnc router running linux cnc. i want to run a plasma torch on it using L/cnc.

can i get some one to help me with the set up procedure.

Well there are two options:

1. Create a new config for plasma. This would be pretty quick becasue you could give the plasmac configurator and feed it your existing config for it to add the plasm specific stuff.

2. Use Linuxcnc's multispindle feature (Plasmac uses it for engraving) so you can manage it all in one config where spindle 0 = plasma and spindle 1 = router. You might need to change the Plasmac defaults so it does not filter out Z axis code. You'd probably still follow method 1 to start with.

In fact I think if you did option 1 and set the spindle on relay to be the engraver, you'd be part way there. I would hand edit the config to use a different spindle number for the router to avoid all the engraver specific stuff.
