Hello Everyone,
My plasma, 48"X48, 1219.20mm x 1219.20mm, CNC table build moves, the homing sequence works, and the probe test works. I can pulse fire the torch on & off and my THC voltage reads correctly. I upload the circle file & toggle the play button with torch enabled off, to check the travel area, it looks good. I moved on and enable the torch button, I hit play and the torch moves down appears to be doing a probing test and then my float switch is triggered and the Float switch triggered warning pops up, and the program stops.
the z-axis is set up as the following:
home position location is set to 4.95"
home switch location is 5.10"
I did the following steps in 6.2, 1 through 4, and still having the same float switch being triggered. so moving on to the second part and that's throwing me off. reading the steps out loud is kind of making sense. Adjusting the float travel is done in the configuration panel and not in the hal file? .

Yes, config panel, first entry in the "probing" section.
Set it to 10 or 15mm (1/2inch).
Just to be sure, do you have a floating head with a floating switch, meaning with two separate moving plates?
