7i96 configuration

Hallo
Ich bin zur Zeit am bauen eines Plasmatisches.
Setup, 7i96 und Thcad 10.
Ich hab zur Zeit alles auf einen Brett aufgebaut und es läuft auch soweit. Jetzt wollte ich aber plasmac drüber spielen, das ging aber nicht weil ich noch kein Arcok, torch on und so hatte.

Jetzt komm ich aber nicht weiter wie ich das configurier. Was muss ich bei pncconf bei den pins einstellen, auch bei dem encoder des thcad weiß ichs nicht.
Und wie geht das dann?
Kann mir das bitte jemand erklären, bin echt am verzweifeln.

Mit dem linuxcnc Dokumentation komm ich auch nicht weiter.

Plasmaschneider hab ich noch keinen.

I'd first suggest upgrading to linuxcnc 2.9 and running qtplasmac instead of plasmac
linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/plasma/qtplasmac.html

In 2.9 as you're running through pncconf you will be able to select the qtplasmac gui, as well as set the input and output pins for arcok, torch on, float, thcad10, etc within the wizard's various pages. For the sake of learning you can setup your config with these IO pins even though your plasma isn't plugged in and still load the software.

There is also a simulation configuration for qtplasmac that you can use to play around in the GUI without any hardware.
