I go from Aspire (export as a DXF) into SheetCam using the PlasmaC post processor.
Not sure about going straight from Aspire, however I imagine it would work fine once you have the right post.

thanks for your reply.
It should work fine if i would export directly from aspire , it worked flawless on mach3 ,thats why i assume it would work on linux too.
