Debian bookworm is  a better option than Bullseye in my opinion. Follow my step by step guide, no need to complie source anymore and better, faster kernel...

Hi Rod, yestrday I probeb the guide for Bookworm, but unfortunely the error is still appear on shutdown. The error still appears when closing the application, although the behavior is much better than the previous ones that I have tried, as you said. I know that there are no problems that affect the work of the CNC machine, but I don't feel comfortable seeing the error screen, thanks for your help.

The segmentaton fault was a QTVCP thing which I thought was resolved last time I looked.. I will check one of my bookworm installs with the qtplasmac sim.

Does it happen if you run a QTplasmac sim?

yes, it happens with the sample configuration of QTplasmac and with a new configuration made with Stepconf, I have tried both ways.

I do see that it's back, I have no idea what changed recently to bring it back.

At any rate, in the meantime (which this may not get resolved any time soon, if ever), it's benign, so just ignore it.

I pushed a change that seems to fix this over here (and on Chris' machine as well).... but I've said that before :)
