valid arc lost final cut. was created by paulsao
Greetings. I am experiencing at the end of some cuts a message of "valid arc lost" it seems that it occurs because some pieces are in the middle of the waterbed supports and immediately fall, someone could give me a suggestion, if I give it some time the end cut can solve these problems?

Good morning.

The Valid Arc Lost is in this case is caused because the material fell away, the arc flamed out, and as far as QtPlasmaC is concerned, it still had some (likely very small) distance remaining in the cut.

I think the easiest way to solve this is to add this line to your custom.hal file:
setp plasmac.arc-lost-delay 0.1

This will allow motion to continue for up to 100mS, or until the next M5 gcode is reached.  Whichever comes first.

That should do the trick.
