Hi Phil
Thank you for the reply
On my working installation the command gives the following output;
Linux Plasma 4.9.0-9-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.9.168-1 (2019-04-12) x86-64 GNU/Linux
This installation hosts a working run in place
On my new installation the command gives the following output;
Linux Plasma 4.19.0-22-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.19.260-1 (2022-09-29) x86-64 GNU/Linux
This installation has a basic pncconf setup that I have been gradually editing.
My current thinking is that I would be better to get a working implementation on the new install, as it will likely be a bit cleaner and also does not risk breaking my running install.
I would like that to be run in place also.
I have been looking at the hal and ini files and they do look quite similar.
I am not sure if Its best to copy my working files to the new install and edit them as best I can, or use the data from the files to create a pncconf implementation, or is there a better way?
Darren

In that case I would be tempted to build a new config from scratch with PnCconf. Don't forget to run set the environment with rip-environment before running PnCconf.My current thinking is that I would be better to get a working implementation on the new install, as it will likely be a bit cleaner and also does not risk breaking my running install.
