Pictures of the wiring of the THCAD?
-
i asked if you checked the feed rates, i meant the feed rate in the "material" part of the QtPlasmaC and in the gcode, those should be the same, otherwise the THC will remain locked.

Does not seem right, should be 0 at idle and when moving, and it can fluctuate between -1, 0 and 1.It shows 13-20 volts. When it's idle it stays at 13 volts, when it's moving but not cutting it's closer to 20 volts.

Those are on by default, while testing should be both disabled, till the THC is working and tracking correctly.I did not disable velocity anti dive, but I've never turned on void anti dive. I don't know what either of those do.

I can't get a good picture of the THCAD and wiring due to how it's mounted. But here's the diagram I followed, here's the text version because it wouldn't let me attach a picture:
Right side
IN- to divided arc voltage negative from plasma cutter
Shield - Ground
IN+ to divided arc voltage positive from plasma cutter
Left side
5v - 5v from power supply
FO- to ENC A negative
FO to ENC A positive
FR- unused
FR unusedGND to ground
I double checked the feedrates in my parameters and in my part program, both are set to 45ipm. This is very good info, I'll make sure to double check these. Every time I load a program it defaults to 157ipm, drives me nuts.

Also check the THC scaling and offset, they are not OK.

In the settings tab of QtPlasmaC.
Or parameters tab, maybe.
