Modifying the Ohmic Probe Routine. was created by Deveraux
Hi,
I just mounted a pneumatic cylinder on my machine for ohmic probing since the method i used before (3d Printed Part with a copper ring around the plasmacutter nozzle) always gathered some molten metal which constantly set my z 0 wrong enough to mess qith my cuts). So far so good but im wondering if i could modify the probe routine so that the machine moves the x axis to compensate for the offset of the cylinder to the nozzle, then starts the normal probing routine, after which it moves back the x axis to move the nozzle where the probe happened ?
Where can i find the probe routine as far as i understood in plasmac 2.9 the probing is handled by the component so i probably have to modify the source code a little and then build from source to get it happening ? Or is there a simple solution for my Problem.

Thanks in advance for any input.

This feature is available in QtPlasmac in V2.9 or master branch:

Thanks for the quick answer.
I had thought for a while now to upgrade from Plasmac to Qtplasmac now i finally have a reason to do so.
Thank you for the info.
