Drive timer settings for servo drivers with step/dir input was created by kn612
Using qtlasmac with mesa 7i96s to retrofit a plasma gantry that ran on hypertherm microedge.
Baldor ac servo motors, flexdrive 2 drivers. I configured the flexdrives for step/direction input.
In pnnconf how do I know what to input for the correct timer settings? Also, what do these settings do? Is there any documentation out there I can read? I have very limited knowledge/experience but I am learning as I go.

Do the drives have step timing specifications?
If so I would use those values (which are typically specified as
minimums) and multiply them by 1.5
If you have no timing specs I would use pncconf defaults
Step_time 5000
Step_Space 5000
Dir_Setup 10000
Dir_Hold 10000
As a start and only reduce the Step_Time and Step_Space
values if the prevent you reaching you maximum required velocity
