We have a system that the customer uses run from line regularly and he reports that the THC does not work at all. The Gcode includes the THC enable and it is enabled on the Gui but there is no reaction to the voltage changes.
The mode is set to 1.
This is the beginning of the file but they started it somewhere down the line.

I am not near the machine at the moment but I just tested on my machine and there is no problem with the THC enable. I will first have to see if that machine needs to be updated.

The main screen has:
Torch Enable = On
Velocity Anti Dive = On
Auto Volts = On
THC Enable = On
THC Enable Led = Off
Up/Down and Active Leds = Off

Could you get a copy of the actual run from line code by setting it up and loading it then right click on the g-code text and select all then copy and paste into a text editor.

Does the THC show as enabled on the GUI while cutting?

Phill the THC Enabled Led never comes on. Let me get the installation up to the latest code today and check again.

Is that only when doing run from line or also on a full job.

Is it possible that the machines cutting velocity does not reach the cut speed set in the parameters.

I never thought about that. The machine is a bit slow but this was cutting at about 900mm/m. I think I saw 3000mm velocity during jogging on the machine.

The THC never comes on by the looks of it

This installation is on master-rtpreempt although it could be far behind as I cannot get to connect to the repository.

I have changed this installation to the latest 2.9.2 now so we can go test it later today.
I will let you know if it changed anything
