Greetings to all.
Very recently I have been experiencing failures in starting the arc, it has never happened to me when I go to cut something the arc fails even up to 3 times, could someone help me with this.

What did you change?
Did you change the power socket for any of the equipment?
Did you have any work done in the power distribution panel?
Check for broken ground wires and for nicked wiring on moving parts of the machine.

What plasma cutter?
How are you getting an ArcOK signal? From the plasma cutter?
It could be oxidisation of the relay contacts.

Good morning, I'll tell you some updates:
1) The plasma is the lotos 5500 model.
ipt60 torch.
2) I hear that the relay and the solenoid valve activate but the arc does not come out, does that mean that the relay is good?
3) I can also see in Qtpaslamc that the arc voltage is more or less 229v but the arc does not come out of the torch.
My suspicion is that the torch could be failing...is there anything inside it that can be cleaned or damaged?

-check air pressure while the air is on
-remove nozzle and electrode and look inside the torch, is there charring and black spots? If yes, clean as much as you can with a sharp screwdriver, blow the dust with compressed air, use WD40 and spray inside the torch. Put new electrode and nozzle, test.
If the ceramic parts inside are eroded and blacked to much = new torch.
Are the consumables original?
If the new electrode gets blacked after several failed tries = new torch.
-
As a general rule, never fire the torch with no air, these china made plasma cutters do not have a pressure sensor so they will fire with no air and destroy the torch.

This is my guess
linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/plasma/qtp...asma:qt-contact-load
It will take time for the oxidisation to burn off maybe 10 cycles or more.

Rod, not it, it never is.
See point 2 on his reply, he can hear the solenoid inside the plasma switch on, so the relay is closing and switching stuff on.

Thank you very much for your help, replace the torch head and it works normally, I have a question, why does the arc deviate? I am cutting some squares and the arc deviates a few centimeters after starting the cut, the consumables are new.

Most probably from a kink in the air hose to the torch.
Is it always in the same place on the table?

If I place the start cut on the ·x axis, the deviation appears a few cm from beginning the cut, and if I change the perforation to the axis "y " and the deviation goes to the y axis, it is always a few cm from the perforation.
