What is causing this error when I load my Gcode file. It only seams happen when I load a file with a large amount of parts. Some times I can close the notification and reload but today I couldn’t and even closing linuxcnc did not remove it. I had to restart the computer to remove it but it when I loaded the Gcode it showed up agian. The sheet only has 32 parts in it so not overly large. I’m running a plasmaC version at least a few years old as it just works for me and I could not afford the risk of trying yo update and break something.  Thank you, I’m hope it’s just a setting somewhere where I can increase the timeout duration.

And when I do get it to load I allways get this notification. Everything still sends to cut ok but maybe it’s time for me to face my fears and just update.

See if this helps

Ok just checked and not much there, so
How are you loading the file and from what?
If from network or USB, try copying to HDD and load from there.

Seems like you are trying to set the feed the twice (in gcode and in the material)
I really think you should update QTplasmac.

Yes I know. I dug up another SSD for my GIGABYTE mini pc so I’m going to do a completely fresh install without compromising my original HD.

I vaguely remember this, and I’m pretty sure we changed the behavior around this. I will double check tomorrow.

The other warning is because you have feed rates set by the material selection, as well as hard coded in the file.

I’m curious what version you’re actually running? It’s listed in the window title bar.

This link didn’t work earlier, this is why I remembered this.

Thanks Tommy.

Got Linuxcnc loaded onto the replacement drive. I just hope setting it up is easier than it was 3-4 years ago. I really struggled the first time I set it up as I am not a Linux guy at all so it was very confusing.
