FileManager extensions was created by phillc54
In my ini file I have:
Printing INFO.PROGAM_FILTERS_EXTENSIONS shows:
When using FileManager to open files the extensions are used individually, Is it possible to use them simultaneously, with the exception of "all files"
[FILTER]
PROGRAM_EXTENSION = .nc,.tap remove z axis stuff
Printing INFO.PROGAM_FILTERS_EXTENSIONS shows:
['*.ngc', '*.nc', '*.tap', '*']
When using FileManager to open files the extensions are used individually, Is it possible to use them simultaneously, with the exception of "all files"

This is something i have been just working on.
The file dialog works as you want so it is possible.
it wasn't clear to ma at the time how to apply multiple filters simultaneously.
So short answer no but hopefully in the soonish future.

Great, thanks Chris.
Another thing, when I go to Edit Mode the New, Open and Save buttons don't appear to do anything. I guess I am missing something.

Do you have the 'file dialog' option turned on in the screenoption widget?
And yes it does look like the new button doesn't clear the text as it should - i'll fix that.

Oops.
Last question today. When a file is opened and run through a filter then a temp file is created and opened by LinuxCNC. Is the original filename available somewhere?

try ACTION.prefilter_path
It should hold the last loaded file name as a string.
