Hello,
I have two questions regarding the completed toolpath review window.
1.
I noticed that in the review window, after a certain number of G-code steps, the realized toolpaths start to be deleted.
This is quite annoying when I'm doing V-carve where there is no set tool sequence and then it's never visible where the tool has been.
In the instructions, I can't find a description of where and how to set it to work but not delete the path.
What and where I have to change this option?
2.
The GUI allows you to resume work from a specific line of G-code. This is a well. If the electronics report an error during operation, the execution of the program is interrupted and the overview window for the G-code is placed at the beginning.
Is it possible somewhere to see the information on which G-code line the error was? It is not on the STATUS screen, not even in the LOG file.

Is it possible to supplement the overview window with the functionality that the Axis GUI has, to click with the mouse on the drawn G-code position and in the G-code overview the cursor is placed on the drawn G-code line.

1) This was noticed by someone else and I thought it got fixed - I'll have to look for the details.
How old/current is your version of linuxcnc and how did you get it (debian repo, buildbor, compiled)?

2) I'll look into that - if it's a gcode error, does the error message not report the line?

3)in the setting tab 'inhibit mouse selection' controls this. If your program is large, it really slows down the rotation etc of the graphics.

I should clone my hard drive first. I am testing several things now.
Testing Release Linux Mint 21.1 Vera 64-bit with Kernel Linux 6.1.0-rt5-linuxcnc-rt x86_64.
This might not be your best test bed now.

Ok. Could you post a ngc file that shows the problem?
keeping in mind this is a public forum if that is important to you.

It was a test file for G93 problems. The tools and tool changes are removed.

QTDragon fails in sim with my config now.
