Same here. When I was new on Github I thought I could fork a project to my account to archive it. Nope one day I came back and discovered my unchanged fork had vanished along with the original author's interesting project.

Now it is:
cd into my NAS
git clone

I got interested in them as they are an easier option for straight forward machining rather than having to go onto my other pc in my office as i dont connect machines to my network and having to create toolpaths then load them in and if i want a change to go through a mess of work scripts i discovered are great within minutes toolpath made and loaded .

I managed to fix the issue. The diagnostics software kept reporting the AF_610 and also AF_620 faults (encoder related faults), but the reason was it could not communicate with the encoder due to a bunch of random parameters set during the failed write/download from the diagnostics software.

However these parameters are locked out to users. However you can activate a "super user" level with code "jmc2018". This will allow you to alter the necessary P00 parameters.

Here are the files you asked for
On a lathe, the Z-axis is No. 2, and on a mill, it’s No. 3. I think that’s where the problem comes from—previously, I had to have two Z- and two Z+ buttons; on one pair, I used jog_1_pb,
and on the other, I used jog_2_pb, which I used when the axes were homed, and it worked. When the axes weren’t homed, I had to use jog_pb_1 to move the axis.
So why does it work normally in Probe Basic but not in Flex GUI?

Keinen Ahnung was ich mir damals gedacht habe.

Anschluss CN1:
21 OA+ Encoder A-phase positive output
22 OA- Encoder A-phase negative output
23 OB- Encoder B phase negative output
24 OZ- Encoder Z-phase negative output
25 OB+ Encoder B-phase positive output

Die Step + Step - / Dir + Dir - Anschüsse suche ich noch immer?

Was haltet Ihr davon?

www.jmc-motor.com/uploads/20240730/163ce...315f4288926ae918.pdf

That was very low on my list of possible explanations, first was fire, then diesel heater, then open firepit...

I hope this way it might help someone if he wants the same feature. Or improve it.

I think it might be interesting to see what other have as cutom features, so one knows whats possible and might be handy.

Several years back i built a NAS, so now i just dump stuff into it, hence the "archived".

Nothing ?!?!
Well, just ion case, you can even control servos through parallel port, with a simple H-bridge drive and encoders directly wired to parallel port, as can be seen here:

and with Mesa.

I've always had good luck with used PC's for LinuxCNC, mainly because i always use the "Enterprise" versions from Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Fujitsu.
Same with Mesa, i am sure i have Intel and RealTek network cards in use, none had any issues, ever.
Then again, i have several USB to LAN adapters that work fine with Mesa, Laptops and tablets that work fine with Mesa, etc, etc.
I would roughly say i had about 0.5% rate of not working/not usable PC's, and 30% rate of not usable laptops.
