VistaCNC P4-SE pendant stopped working

Got it. You meant RJ45 connector and not Ethernet protocol. My problems stemmed from static electricity. In fact yesterday while working on testing a remap of M6 tool change macro I noticed the pendent display "LINUXCNC" for just a split second but it didn't seem to affect the operation. It is winter here now so the air is very dry and I am wearing a sweatshirt. When I get up from my chair and then touch something grounded that is either metal or plastic I get a shock. If I am holding the pendant it at that point it probably would have lost connection. No that I have a touch screen mounted next to the machine I don't sit down as much.
