Ok success.
The cause of my problem was that i cut and paste the text from tutorial to the terminal. t
The line cd linuxcnc-dev/debian did not change the directory to debian. I had to separate the 2 by typing cd linuxcnc-dev then cd debian. Then everything worked as instructed.

I do not understand how it could work, because the switchkins is for a tilt table, and your machine is a tilt spindle

"switchkins" is NOT limited to any particular machine kinematics. Its LinuxCNC with the ability to switch the type of kinematic from within the gcode.

What parameters should be adjusted for each machine?

Not quite sure what you mean. If you want to switch the kinematics when using the switchkins branch you have to build it

www.panix.com/~dgarrett/stuff/s_kins_guide.txt

and then you can use M commands to switch the kinematics you have set up.
