Good evening

I am waiting for my tool setter with 4 wire.
I am not quite sure if the way i m thinking to wire it is correct or not.

I attached my drawing.
Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.
V.

Why does the toolsetter have 4 wires?

I can only imagine that it is because it has two outputs?

Perhaps you have a link to the documentation for it?

Your diagram has somehow come out too small to read comfortably.

Hello Andy
Thanks for your answer.

I am sorry for the drawing format, I will put the dxf file of the wired sensor.
At the present moment, this sensor is not in my hand and the unique information are in this link sensor
Regarding the number of wire, I suppose that a couple of this wire are for some sort of alarm that activate in case the tool try to crash the sensor, but I am not sure.
I hope I can find some more information inside the box; I was hoping that someone with the same sensor has already bypass this problem.

Thanks again for your help.
Regards,
V.

I add also the dwg.
Just remove txt from the file to get the dwg.

I _think_ all you have is two switches. So Yellow and White to Field Power +24, and then green to the alarm GPIO input (probably triggering e-stop, or at least motion-disable and the brown wire to a GPIO pin connected to motion.probe-in.

The one I just got has four wires and it has two switches. One for the touch sense and the is for over-travel detection.

Hi
What i am thinking to do is to wire one switch for the probe and the other switch wired for the end stop loop, but I might wait for the box to see what is inside.
I will make an update as soon I have the sensor.

Thanks

Good evening everyone

I attached another pdf about the 4wire tool setter wiring.
In my opinion should be like in this drawing.
Still waiting for the sensor.

Regards,
V.
