Lathe with FRONT & BACK tool posts?

I'm sure that there is probably an easy answer to this, but, how would one deal with a Lathe that has 2x quick change toolposts, one as a front and the other as a a rear toolpost?

{The GUI is Gmoccapy if it makes a difference}

I know about the ini file setting
[DISPLAY] BACK_TOOL_LATHE = 1

Just wondering how to practically deal with this.

I know I've seen a parting tool on the rear toolpost sometimes, but it seems that this lathe has 2x 4 position quick change toolposts.... one front and one rear mounted.

Anyone come across this before or got a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Robert - been lurking as this interests me as well.  I don't have any personal experience (my lathe isn't LCNC), but I did find a couple threads addressing the issue.

Remap G68/G69

Just thought of something... Pathpilot has both a turret and gang tools.  Poking around in PP or asking questions from the PP folks may be instructive how Tormach handles the tool display.

You can mirror the X axis to use the back tool more easily.
Its a bit hacky as you must partially define a fake Y axis in the INI so that the g10 l2 rotate command will work. then you rotate the X axis 180 degrees
