I can't advise on whether there are Mesa cards which can work directly with the Heidenhain scales. EXE610C units are cheap on eBay here, so I purchased 3 for my FP2NC conversion. Meridian Measurement Systems has a newer converter product, which I suspect is based on the iC-Haus iC-NV chip:

I plan to use a 6i25 and 7i77 Mesa Plug-N-Go kit, which I already had on hand. The conversion isn't finished yet.

Hello!
The idea with the Heidenhein board isn't bad. It's definitely a very solid solution.
I have already asked another company about these small converters. If they are suitable I would like to use them because they are small.

Hello everyone!
after a lot of thoughts, i came to the conclusion, that a 3 axis Heidenhain converter from ebay would be the best. The alternive with these small adapters is to expensive (220€ without tax).
For the toolcanger i need an extra 70Ins and 20Outs.
My idea is, that i am going to use 4 7i84 that I will connect to the 7i97T.
One 7i84 on the RS 422 connection und a 7i85 on the 25 pin connection with 3 7i84 connected to it via the Rs 422.
Is this posible or am I going to make a mistake?

Hello Mbrandt,
why are you not using a 7i97T only? It has the I/O for the control of six seperate axes itself.
Best regards
Hartwig

Hello Hartwig,
I am using the 7i97T exactly for that. But for the automatic toolcanger, wich hast some hydralic pistions, I will need extra I/Os.
-The 7i97T is for the movment of the axis, spindle and encoders.
-The 7i84s is for the control of the toolcanger.
Do you unterstand?

The 3 Axis EXE in my Maho needs both 5V and 12vDC, and output single sided signals. Two of three channels failed. I replaced them with 601D EXE's. They only need 5VDC, and output differential signals.

The 3 axes Exe board which I have needs only 5V supplied by the MESA.. Simple connection.- signal output as required by the MESA.
Best regards

Hello everyone!
Does anyone of you guys have the 257 411 01 EXE Platine? Und does anyone have a exakt Pin connection drawing? I have found some online, but i dont know if i can trust them.
Finaly every component has arived to bring the Deckel back to life.
I am currently installing linuxcnc and getting to know how to write the hal and ini script.
Has anyone a good hal and ini script to use as a base?
Here is the a picture of my elecrticle cabinete. I am also currently marking every wire i have to connect.
I wont use a vfd because the gears give me a good enought rpm range for now.
Thanks to all wich have replied

Hello Guys!
Finally I have some updates !
The linear scales are working! Note to my selfe: dont trust anyone in the internet.
I will make a sheet, where I will draw up the connection between the exe and the mesacard. Next on the list are the endswiches and the e stop. Hopefully it will move on its own by the end of the week.
Here a pictue of the conector of the exe:
