Yes that attached fine

Region 0: I/O ports at ac00
Region 1: I/O ports at a800

One of these is the port address and the other the register

The port address tends to be the lower number, so try 0xa800 as you port first, if that fails use 0xac00

I reran stepcon so now all axis work properly
Thank you again for all your help
How would I make a image of my computer with all my current settings in ubuntu and linuxcnc
so if I have computer problems in the future I can just plug a flashdrive in and reload everything the way it is now
I made a startup disk for ubuntu and linuxcnc and it works good
but if I could image my harddrive now it would save a lot of trouble
Thank You Guys for this forum

Invert the direction pin in the parallel port setup page for the X axis.

well I think my CNC is working properly now
I just ran a simple spotting program (aggravation board) it worked good
I know the scale is not right yet but I will modify steps per inch to dial it in
I will make a mill program for a 6 inch x 6 inch box and adjust steps per inch untill it checks 6.000 square
is there a better way to get the correct scale
in any case Thank You
