Now it is working so spindle rotates correctly.
How can this be adjusted? When manually controlling the VFD rpmĀ“s are smooth.
But when switching over to LCNC control the spindle is pulsating.
Cheers

Jogging issues. Lathe.
X axis moves correct with keyboard and -+ on screen but homing in wrong direction (assuming rear tools) and I use front tools.
Z axis moves opposite direction but homing is correct.
How to change this behavior?
Cheers

Did it behave the same way when it was running with Mach3? (I'm guessing no.)
What does the hal scope plot of the pulse stream look like when it is doing that? (I kind of suspect it was doing it in the first photo you posted of the hal scope plot.)
Could you post the latest version your hal file again so we can see that and check the order of some things?
I may have once ran into something similar to this once before, but I'm not certain. I kind of doubt the causes are the same. If there isn't something obvious in the hal file, I might be stumped.

OK in Mach3 ( some occurrence of very long steps of shifting rpm's with maybe 20-30rpm is what I notice sometime.)
Will go down now and send latest hal if I get my network to work again. Also will have a picture of halscope.

May I suggest you start a new topic in the HAL section of the forum asking the question "Why is Stepgen not outputting a steady stream of pulses with a constant velocity command?"
You might get more answers there.
What were your Latency test results like on that PC?

That doesn't seem too bad, if it was for a long enough duration of time, with a sufficient load on the system.
Could you try running the Latency Histogram, from the apps section of the config picker.
I am kind of baffled.
