contour shuttle pro as EMC pendant

After following the instructions at linuxcnc.org/docs/html/drivers/shuttlexpress.html, LinuxCNC still didn't connect
to the shuttlexpress device. We created the rules file but is there something else that it needs?

Did you ever get this working? I have a shuttleprov2 if like to get setup and am researching what I need to do for it!
