DigiPos 15" touch screen, how to get this up and running in LCNC

This is really a generic Linux problem not a Linuxcnc one.
Were you ever able to identify the model of the monitor?
What distro version are you running? For example there are differences between Debian 7 8 and 9 that could make getting a touch screen working difficult if you were following the wrong instructions for the wrong version.

I did manage to get it sort of working but not now with RT OS for 7i96e
