Thank you, but shipping that to Kosovo would get me in trouble with customs, i got fed up with them.
If i import a full truck of stuff i have to pay 29 + 3% of the total value and that is very nice, but if i import 2 Proma THC150 from Poland with the total price of 536 Euro (several years back) i ended up paying over 400 Euro in taxes and stuff! That is over 70%!
The way i have to do this is ask a friend in Germany or any other EU country to ship it to them, then they ship it to me.
That implies the friend has a company registered there as well as here.
To many hoops to jump.

Ok, I’m ready to buy it, but...I would just like one more confirmation: there really is no reason/advantage in getting a newer pc (the one i’m looking at is from 2013)? For example, will it support the latest versions of the OS/LinuxCNC/other required software?

??? (it's been a few years since I last had anything to do with buying a new PC) The resource demands required for Linuxcnc are not all that high. And generally Linux often works better (installs with the least hassle) on a PC design that is a few years old anyway (so that any needed newish hardware drivers have had a chance to be sorted out).

My first Linuxcnc machine was set up 9 years ago using an old intel P4 computer with 1g memory that we had laying around (let's just say that it has some ISA card slots). It is still running the current version of Linuxcnc every day in a factory setting (albeit on the old Ubuntu 10.04 OS). The last new hardware I have used with Linuxcnc was an intel Celeron from a few years ago.

One caution about older PCs is that they may not be compatible with VTK
as the on board graphic hardware does not support the OpenGL features needed

This is needed for things like the new QtPyVCP GUI

Core Duo vintage PCs do not have the required graphics hardware for example
(you can work around this by adding a video card)

Thank you.

Axis uses OpenGL and will not work without it.
