@rodw Have you tried the kernel I had compiled for the s9xx? It seems like it uses the same kernel config for the s922x:

Hello,
have use now a Optiplex 980 with i5 with 8GB RAM for 49 Bucks. Now Linuxcnc work fine. Latency is under 38.000 with 6 glxgears and Youtube for over 24h. No errors more with LinuxCNC... so a good alternative i think and with 49 Bucks cheaper than all other ideas.

I have a Lenovo M72e tower that is good with a 4 core i5.
If want to use the on board parallel port you have to find a genuine Lenovo cable.......it's magic cable that enables the PPort and lets you change setting in the BIOS.
This I found BTSOTR when walking the dog.

Probably end up in my country, just one of the local sellers has two big 40 ton trucks arriving here every week.No link to the $49 used special PC sale?
