Yes, got the motherboard , processor and M.2 drive. Memory is due tomorrow, graphics card due Friday.

I wonder if this works? Has parport + CPU + graphics built in.

Only downside is no 12V power, it needs a PSU (but a PicoPSU ought to work)

If I was building a new machine I might try:
www.mini-itx.com/~JNF9M-2930
And run it off the 24V PSU.

Installing Debian 11 and everything seems normal except Debian ddn't recognize the NIC. I'll see if the CD has some drivers on it after the install.

I'd be a happy guy if Debian 11 would boot up... I see a bunch of text flying by then a blank screen with a blinking cursor.

Updating the bio with the built in EZ Flash utility... we'll see.

Try it again with nomodeset as a kernel parameter (catch grub when booting, edit and then F10 to boot)

Ok, Linuxmint 20.3 Cinnamon Edge is new enough to recognize the NIC so installing it now.

And I had to move on to Linuxmint 21 to get a Python version high enough for master which for some strange reason requires Python => 3.10
