You don't need the button to close it.

What do I need to change for that to happen? I have tried removing different lines and can get rid of the button, but then it won't close.

John,
I have got everything working the way I would like other than I cannot get my image to be centered on my computer screen. This includes the 'OK' button and the message to Push Enter to Close this window.
I have been able to use padx= to move my images right or pady= to move it down, but I am cutting off the very right side of my image.
I have done an exhaustive search about tkinter, but am coming up empty. my image file is a CAD drawing exported to .bmp.
Any suggestions?

John,
I came across this post earlier today, but I don't think it relates to my issue as the image file does open up full screen. I have attached a screen shot, I hope that explains it better.

I'm guessing that using the pad does that. What happens when you don't pad it?

Nothing, originally I didn't have the pad in there.

Is the image just too big?
