Yes, you can use this widget in LinuxCNC.
It's now in a newer version.It has its own QSS, so you can customize its appearance.
If anything needs to be changed, let me know, or change it yourself.

Nice work - that's kinda what I was hoping to achieve with my 2.8.4 install, but after hours of going around in circles CGPT eventually ran out of ideas and told me to install a newer version of LinuxCNC. So I went with the Python bridging app approach, which has actually turned out pretty good..! (A couple of screen-shots attached).
I may try and expand it to search each point (L/R/U or D) and trigger via a pin (I have the SeanD through tool Zprobe working on my machine) - will have to see what CGPT says about that...
