Yep, I still have the old card installed as well, so I'm happy to keep troubleshooting this if it will help improve LinuxCNC in the future.

Maybe I missed something, what does CADR stand for? Are you suggesting that I do the test that @Todd suggested?

CADR stands for budget card. :laugh:

Pci-e works as old Pci card's no problem.

The problem :

The provided voltage of your pci-e card is too low ( 2- 3.3vdc ) to provide a trigger (dc power) to trigger your hard wired spindle on signal.
At least, that is what i think about the situation at this moment. B)

Every card producer has different output's. A good pci card supplier is Sunix, but they are expensive.
This one is a very nice one, but no pci-e.
