Basic hal config was created by tcbmetalworks
Hello, I am trying to build a cnc band saw. I am looking to build a custom python gui. Does anyone have a example of a super minimalistic hal configuration? All i would like is to power outputs on and off some inputs and a linear incremental Encoder to track position i see there's lots of configurations for plasma mills lathes etc but not much that is this simplistic.

Maybe.
That's shown embedded in Touchy, but it could be standalone.
I also did a similar thing with a hydraulic press-brake, but don't know how that worked out in the end. That didn't use LinuxCNC at all, it was pure HAL. But I am not sure that was the best of ideas in the end.
