LinuxCNC is built and tested on ARM but AFAIK only on armhf.
You can see all the platforms that the buildbot test-compiles for here:
buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/waterfall
If using Jessie, there are even packages: buildbot.linuxcnc.org/dists/jessie/maste...reempt/binary-armhf/

I hope the linuxcnc community will start support arm SBC soon. This computers have an SPI interface for what is much more easier build some hobby controller boards than for peripheries what is available on common x86 motherboards.

Hi,
Tom, can you please share the configuration file you used for the pidiCNC?

They sent me a link to download the image and removed it promptly after i did.
That was very strange as it should be available, it is machinekit so open source.

Hi mngr0,
I saw your message earlier but I'm busy these days. I will send you an image with preinstaled machinekit and pidi driver. I have a good news, this image have working opengl acceleration.
As Tom mentioned I sent him an image, but I did not delete it. I sent it over myairbridge.com where is restriction for free plan that they keep files only for 2 days

Hi Vitkan,
Thank you for the offer, as I am writing a mesa-like firmware I am interested in the source code primarily. My objective is understanding how the hostmot2 communication goes.
Can you give it too?
Until now I tried looking both in the FPGA side and in the LinuxCNC side, but with no luck.
If you, or anyone, could help me with that I would really appreciate

Hi Mngr0,
First of all, our boards are not based on any Mesa boards or hostmot software. We inspired on driver from kinsamanka who made a driver which can communicate with his board over SPI.
I sending you source files, maybe could be helpful. It is only for Raspberry Pi and for communication over SPI
