5i25 + 2 X 7i74 was created by terkaa

Hi,

I have 5i25 and 2 7i74's connected. The one on port 0 is working ok but the one on port 1 lights only green led enable led does not come on. How do I enable also this port 1 ?

What do you get if you type the following in a terminal window? This is a completely default startup with no options:

halrun
loadrt hostmot2
loadrt hm2_pci
loadrt threads
addf hm2_5i25.0.read     thread1
addf hm2_5i25.0.write    thread1
start

(You can then do things like "show pin" to see if the pins on the second 7i74 show up, etc.)

Hi,

I get all io's connected to 7i74 on port 0. But no io's connected to
second 7i74 on port 1.

AFAIK you must specifically enable sserial Port1 in the config line

Ok, I will give it a go tomorrow. This port 1 is dedicated for user panel inputs/outputs with two 7i84's.

Ok,

adding sserial_port_1=00000000 worked and 7i70 card connected to second 7i74 now works. But I have 7i84 connected to same 7i74 and it does not work. RS422 and field power leds are on but green activity led does not start blinking. What might cause this?
