Any thoughts about having the limits/home switches NO as I would like to take out the relay-board
this just for clean install that is easy to get a overall view of.

How hard would it be to change the switches?

Though the OEM thought that NO was OK, and presumably knew what they were doing.

Not possible to get physically to do this, way too much heavy metal to be removed. The Z knee and X axis table.

Below schematics for the NO/NC conversion via relay-board

I can't help feeling that the conversion relay board adds more possible failure modes than just keeping the NO switches.

I agree even if NO is a bit backwards.

Been away for a few days on short holiday.

Have made up following list for connecting I/O to 7i73 in the controlbox.

This browser does not support PDFs. Please download the PDF to view it: Download PDF

Is this somewhat correctly connected?
Want to use 24VDC on Limit/Home swithes and convert these signals to 3.3VDC

My order is now shipped from Mesa and hopefully here by the end of next week.

It might be easier to use an opto-isolator.

Something like se.rs-online.com/web/p/optocouplers/4530909/

But I would suggest seeing if PCW can suggest an optimal output-type for it.

I have made these to my former Kflop/Kanalog setup so I can use these.

PCW

Any hint on how to sink higher loads on these outputs that only can sink 4mA?

Transistor or FET's?

I have some BSP125 Logic FETĀ“s, I assume these would do the job?
Only load would be signal lamps.

FETs or Optos should work fine
