How do I confirm what versions of the bios each card has?

Thank you,

Jeff

The 7I77 firmware versions (swrevisions) are available as hal parameters (14 = 0x0E is
current), the 5I25 firmware version is probably unimportant unless its is more than about 3-4 years old,
in which case it should be updated.

I opened a terminal window and typed in the command you gave me. It gave me mesaflash command not found.

I am new to linux.

if this is a standard LinuxCNC installation you might try

sudo apt-get install mesaflash

To read the parameters you start a Linuxcnc session and use the
"machine" --> "show hal configuration" --> "show" menus to navigate to something like
"parameters" --> hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.swrevision

Have you gone through basic analog servo setup/tuning steps?

Hello

We could not get encoders data.

History;
1-) We wired 5i25 + 7i77 + 4 Delta Servos
- 5i25 works, 7i77 works and linuxcnc works
- we have disabled limitswitches' pins or ports (LMT SWT)

2-) At Axis GUI, we can drive servos basicly. We can turn clockwise or counter clockwise at fast speeds or Low speeds each of three axis by manuel click control.

But we have in trouble with two things now.

1-) At the beginning, the servos turns slowly in clockwise without any click or mdi commands. We could not achieve to stop them via mdi commands. When we press to home continues to turn.

2-) When we use mdi command to move a position for each axis independently. The servo related to axis starts to turn but not stops again. we can control the speed and direction of the servo via random mdi commands. But impossible to stop it.

We are in doubt with wirings that you can find in the attachments. Or something else that we do know.

Hello you can find my final wiring and jumper settings at the attached file.

We can achieve to turn servos but not to stop them. They are just turning via mdi commands. We can control speed and directions of each axis. But impossible to stop.

We thought that encoder data do not reach to 7i77. But we are not sure this is because of wiring or hal configuration.
