Hey can i use your PDF in pncconf?

Chris

Chris, that is one of Norbert's. If you search for "My 7i76e connection sheet" you should find it.

There are no other Ethernet solutions besides Mesa

Chris

Thats not entirely true. There is always ethercat but that would come at a substantially increased level of complexity than the Mesa cards.

Well, another option is the Pico Systems Universal Stepper Controller. See :
pico-systems.com/univstep.html
for detailed info and :
pico-systems.com/osc2.5/catalog/product_...ath=4&products_id=20

for ordering, price, etc.

We also have a $50 analog output module to control a VFD. This is designed to be as plug-and-play as possible.

I was going to mention your board Jon - but he specifically said Ethernet.

Ethercat was not going to be helpful to this fellow.

X 2.

Its a shame the Mesa ethernet cards don't have a DHCP server on board. That would make life much simpler...

How is it that dhcp would be helpful to a 20 year IT veteran?
