So you are saying that the encoders behave differently on the old 7I92 and the new 7I92
when you do _nothing_ but swap 7I92 cards?

Yes, the encoder works differently on the old 7I92 and the new 7I92 .
When switching the 7I92 card
The old 7i92 works fine.

This time I use the ./mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr10.10.10.10 --write 7i92_fallback.bit
Error: BootSector is invalid

But
mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr10.10.10.10 --write 7i92_fallback.bit
it ok.

1. Sounds like you have 2 mesaflash versions installed on your system
I would install the latest (3.4.3)
2. Why would you write the fallback configuration?

I installed 3.4.3 but the old version is still there. I don't know how to remove

running "mesaflash" will run the installed version (in the execute path)
running "./mesaflash" runs the mesaflash version in the current directory

If you install mesaflash with "sudo make install" you should always use "mesaflash"

That means you did not install the latest mesaflash
(with "sudo make install")

โพสต์ PCW=247399 userid=481นั่นหมายความว่าคุณไม่ได้ติดตั้ง mesaflash ล่าสุด
(ด้วย "sudo make install")

I installed debian linuxcnc 2.8 with Mesaflash3.4.3 on a new computer. Mesaflash 3.4.3 works.

when i install the firmware 7i92_7i77x2.bit succeeded, but still unable to connect to 7i77.
- flash memory sector to write:6 max sectors in area:16
- Flash memory sectors start from 0x1000000, is that correct?

-Is there any way to initiate a new firmware installation?

Sounds like the firmware is OK, but you can verify the pinout with

mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr 10.10.10.10 --dbname1 7i77

The non-functioning serial I/O and encoder sound like bad 7I92 outputs
(the TX pins and encoder mux pin seem to be non-functional)

โพสต์ PCW=247682 userid=481ดูเหมือนว่าเฟิร์มแวร์จะใช้ได้ แต่คุณสามารถตรวจสอบพินเอาต์ด้วย

mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr 10.10.10.10 --dbname1 7i77

Is it damaged at 16211AE or not?
Can you suggest me a preliminary check?
