Is it impossible to convert the signal? If it is possible, how?

You would need to know the signals levels.
Do you have a full data sheet?

It might work with the common Heidenhain "EXE" boxes
which are sine/cosine interpolators with digital quadrature outputs

No, unfortunately, I don't know anything about that. I bought a non-working machine with these rulers installed on it. In order not to buy others and save money, I thought that maybe I could use them.

That's what GPT chat told me.)))))))

Does the machine not already have the interpolators built in?

IC Haus makes analog interpolators :

Greetings!
First of all, thank you for your advice!!!
It took me a while to realise as a newbie! ))))
Secondly, I want to ask what are the correct steps to take to get help? Do I have to create a separate forum thread or can I ask a question in another one? I'm a complete beginner and don't understand many terms and algorithms, but I'm much better than a month ago!!!))).
I recently bought a ready-made control panel with two Chinese interface boards.
I have a task to connect and configure a 4 axis milling machine.
I have some equipment (a lot of equipment was purchased incorrectly and I can no longer afford unreasonable expenses)
I need help with step-by-step instructions:
1- listing and checking for the relevance of the equipment in relation to my goals
2- firmware for the board in relation to the goals and equipment.
3- help with explaining the connection (I mean connecting the picture of the contacts I made with a marker)
4- setting the machine parameters

It is very difficult for me to connect! It's hard for the first time!
Thank you very much for your support!!!
