So I fixed the issue with voltage drop..
Now it's 0v when not blocked and -24v when blocked
Any ideas how to switch that to +24v? because I cant' just switch encoder ground and +24v
I think all brother tc 227 IO is sourcing inputs. My original limit switches or home were also -24v but they worked just by flipping ground and +24v.

Where is the -24V sourced from? This feels like you are measuring from the wrong reference.

If the encoder is driven with 0V and +24V then it _can't_ output -24V.

I' m measuring by putting one multimeter wire on encoder +24v and other on one of the encoder output wires
Encoder is getting power from mesa 7i77 gnd and v field ( it is same when I use brother tc 227 original wiring)

If put pull up resistor to that input then it works. Is it ok if I do this for all encoder inputs on BOB?

You should have the black multimeter wire on the encoder 0V and the red on the encoder output. And then I think you will measure 0V /  +24V output.
