Mesa 7I96 + Renishaw LP2 probe

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI think you need a Renishaw interface box for these
Either the simple hardwired interface (HSI) or one of
the fancier optical or radio links

I have an MP3 probe, I still don't have it connected, there are only two cables I think the easiest thing would be to get a RENISHAW interface, if you can make it work, could you explain how? Thank you.

MP3 is really simple, that is just a switch, no interface needed.

Only drawback is how big they are.

I have this coming tomorrow with the mail, i will try and wire it up to the probe and my controller. Will report back if i get a signal then.

chimeno: For My MP3 I made a shorter arbor (still with the 4 screws and spherical pivot to enable centering) and made a home-made magsafe connector (in case I turned on the spindle with the probe mounted) mounted in a hole drilled in the probe body.
