Can you run these commands (in the directory with the new bitfile)

mesaflash --device ethernet --addr 10.10.10.10 --verify 7i97_7i74D.bit
md5sum 7i97_7i74D.bit

Redownloaded the file, restartet the pc, ran the command.

Board configuration verified successfully.

Only changed the address in the command as I still have it running on 192.168...

What was the result of the md5sum command?

OK thats' correct

I dont know when is going on. The analog outputs are set to 0 when
PWM enable is set false (output 4 shows this happening though
it was never enabled)

Is it possible you have a wiring error in one of the analog outputs?
Can you verify that PWM enable 0 is set false when you have a fault condition?

What would be a fault condition?
Shorting them changes nothing.
Only have my Multimeter and a jumper for the Limit Switch on there, so I dont think any wiring error

Yes pwmgen.00.enable is switched off upon emergency stop.
When turning back on the machine I get 0V output and value=0, so thats reset

OK this looks like and actual 7I97 PWM bug when the required PWM inversion is applied I will have a firmware fix for this but it will probably be this evening

The fix will invert the PWM in hardware so the PWM inversion setting in hal will need to be removed:



This should fix the bad analog value when disabled with PWM inverted issue

(all PWM inversion statements in the hal file must be removed)
