Was having a hard time making a mod vise without first having a vise, so i bought a mod vise..... that makes sense...

I have plenty of new THK35 rails with wide carriages, 2 per rail, waiting and rusting in the shop...
Time....
Will continue to drool over here, maybe something causes me to lock myself in the shop!

25mm rails (speaking of rusting, my x and y rails are ruined for this machine)
iso25 spindle.620x420mm travel. But this one will cost me $8000 for the parts i dont have, so it is gonna sit there for a while while i do the mini. (the mini I have most parts for already, although id like to upgrade the servos and spindle in the longer term)

Got a new bench, and an enclosure.

Enclosure it pretty slick, it is a 3d printer enclosure from creality, but in reality it is a common grow op tent. Pretty neat. its water and dust proof, and has little velcro pass throughs for wiring, and even a round one that could be for a dust collector.

Ok, mesa card installed. Gotta finish up some wiring and it should be able to move.

Been a while since I poked at linuxcnc. I noticed people on youtube using 2.9 with a fancier new UI. is that a new axis, or something else entirely?
