So if I understand my yaskawa servo drives can accept 2 types of signal:
- digital (pulses of 12V) for position control
- analog for speed/torque control (+/-10V) but can be adjusted lower to +/-5V for example.
Am I right?

If we talk about the tool changer, it is driven by a stepper motor stepsyn 103h8221-6241 12-300v.

You'll want to use the +5V Line driver input option for mesa boards.

analog for speed/torque control (+/-10V) but can be adjusted lower to +/-5V for example.

Whether it can be adjusted to +/-5V depends on your Yaskawa drive. You'll need to check the Yaskawa manual for confirmation.

Any information on the stepper motor drive?

The stepper motor drive is a RTA GAC-03.

For the +/-5V on yaskawa drives I took this information directly from the manual.

Looks like a regular step/direction stepper motor driver. Datasheet is somewhat sparse so you might have to try out if it takes the regular 5V logic signals.

Hello,
as i see you have a similar servo drivers, like mine. My servos are: Yaskawa SGDB 15 ADG. It has analog and step/dir command imputs. Can you tell me please, do you can use use (enable it and rotate the motor) without connected operator panel or PC software?
I dont have operator panel on drive, and at first i tried the drive testing with RS232 and PC software. With sotware i can enable and JOG the motor. But just the alone driver, i cant enable by /S-ON signal on 1CN connector. Wiring is ok, the software detects level change on input. And if the software is connected, i can enable by wire. But without software - nothing. Do you have expreience with this situation?
Thanks, Attila.
