New member with questions

Thanks everybody, I used the wiring info and borrowed a PC from a friend that had linuxcnc on it and got motors to turn, both ways even. There must be something in my current system that is causing problems. Now my first machine is acting up too, Get the feeling the old PC is in the process of dieing. Currently trolling Ebay and Craigslist for a newer PC to run it.

Once I have a permanent computer to run it I will start playing with the HAL file.
