Just found this video,really interested in.I wonder how did they control it,looks like 6 axis hexapod + 1 axis for tube feeder.Can linuxcnc control this machine :huh:

And I suspect that the Nissin can do tighter bends, as there isn't a hexapod in the way.

However, I see no reason why LinuxCNC couldn't control either style.

Anyway ,i am going to upgrade my NC tube bender,it uses old hydraulic stuff for bending.
I will add 2 servo motors for feeding the tube and turning it when making 3D bending.And 1 servo motor(about 3kw) for making bend angle.
At first i am going to use Mach 3,because mach3 have a teach-mode,so that i can "manually program"->mach3 will remember and using this manual Gcode for automatic operation.

But as far as i know,mach 3 can remember location(gcode) for only 3 axis in teach mode.Is there any equivalent method of teaching in linuxcnc ,with more than 3 axis teaching?
